BJDC Texas 2025 - News and Updates

In about a week I will board the plane to Austin, Texas, for the annual convention dedicated to the Ball Jointed doll community. I'm attending this doll show since 2015 and is one of the event that I enjoy the most.

This year theme is "The Greatest Show on Earth", with the representation of Circus in all its shapes and colors I'm sure it will be another great convention, and I have to admit I've been very inspired by this theme.

I'm also hosting an hour and a half workshop on Saturday, where I'll teach how to do a face-up on a blank Maddie doll, I'll also teach my technique on how to paint freckles.

What dolls will I bring to the show

There will be some Mini-M dolls, some Maria dolls (old and new...), and a brand new sculpt Serena that will make her debut during the Show and will be later offered as a preorder.

I have most of the dolls posted on a special product page in my Shop, at the moment they are, of course, not available. The attendees and the guests of the event will have a chance to but the dolls at the sales room floor during the convention. But on the 22nd I will update the website with the dolls that will be available for non-attendees.

Here is a gallery of most of the dolls I'll be presenting at the show, I have two more dolls that I'm keeping as a surprise for the day of the grand opening, but if you are following me on Instagram and/or Facebook you will be able to see videos and pictures in real time from the show, I want all my collectors to be able to attend even if they can't be there in person :)
