The last Victoria - a project through the years.

I started working on Victoria in the summer of 2021, and since then I have made many variations of this doll, now all sold and happily adopted around the world. Most of them, for some reason, are redheads, and the last one is no exception. It seems like I have a particular inclination towards this shade of hair color.

I believe it matches her wild, slightly sassy nature—reserved yet simultaneously rebellious.

It was fun to work with this doll. To obtain a final doll of 22 inches, I had to sculpt a much bigger doll, considering the 15% shrinkage of porcelain during the firing process. And the plaster molds were no joke either. That's why the edition has been limited to only a few pieces, and I'm now retiring this set and offering the last doll for this sculpture.

I wanted to end this production with something special, so I gathered only the best material and shopped around for some special stuff to create a great piece. The material that I'm most happy with is the mohair; it is a very silky fiber I had shipped from Poland. It is so soft and shiny that the picture won't do it justice. I made the wig by hand, one strand at a time, creating a very unique piece made just for this doll, and I love how the shade matches the color of her lips.

Her eyes possess a rich, earthy brown hue, and to enhance the intensity of her gaze, I added glued eyelashes alongside the painted ones.

The dress is crafted from a very lightweight cotton poplin featuring a small checked pattern and adorned with subtle vintage lace accents.

The boots are made of real leather by a very talented artisan in Italy. I just added a touch of life by scratching them to make them look a bit used.
